(Just in case you missed it in the first review, I will no longer be making the reviews as long as the first. I only did it that long for the first because it was the first graphic novel of the series of 42.)
Well the second graphic novel of the series features the same heroes, Goku, Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, Puar, and the Turtle Hermit (Master Roshi). The heroes continue their quest for the dragonballs. The Ox-King has just sent them to find the Turtle Hermit to put out the fire so they can get the dragonball. He tells Goku to pick up his daughter Chi-Chi along the way if he happens to see her. Goku agrees and goes to get Master Roshi. Along the way he picks up Chi-Chi. They both make it successfully to the island of Master Roshi. They get him and bring him back to the mountain. Master Roshi says he is going to put out the mountain by himself, which makes Bulma a little skeptical. Master Roshi powers up increasing his body size at least 5 times it's normal size. He begins a Kamehameha and blasts away the mountain. The fire is out and Bulma tries to find the dragonball and is successful. Goku wants to know how to do it but Master Roshi says it takes 50 years to learn. Goku tries to do one and achieves it on his first try. Master Roshi then asks Goku if he would like to train under him after his quest for the dragonballs is over. Goku agrees. Before they go Master Roshi reminds Bulma of the deal they made before he put out the fire. I won't tell you but I bet you can guess.
Well after that is all done they continue their quest towards the last and final dragonball. They encounter gang on the way but I will let you read about that yourself. Well, anyway, while they are on their way they encounter a woman who steals their dragonballs. The woman doesn't have them all because Goku still has the one that he thinks has his grampa's spirit in it. The woman works for Lord Pilaf. Bulma then tracks the other dragonballs down to Pilaf's Palace using the dragon radar. When they get in they immediatly fall into one of Pilaf's traps which is knockout gas. While they are asleep, Pilaf's assistant goes down and retreives Goku's dragonball.
When Goku's gang awakens they are in a stone room with no way out. They see that Pilaf is summoning the dragon. Goku uses the Kamehameha to blast a small hole in the wall which Oolong and Puar escape through in the form of Butterflies (Puar is also a shapeshifter). They rush out as soon as they see Shenlong, the dragon of the dragonballs. Pilaf is about to wish for immortality, but Oolong wishes for a hot girls p*nt**s before Pilaf can finish. The p*nt**s pop out of the air and the dragon dissapears. The dragonballs are scattered around earth, and will be dorment for another Earth year. Pilaf is enraged and puts them all in an inescapable matal chamber with bullet proof glass as a ceiling so they will all roast in the morning sun.
Goku's friends all think it is hopeless. Just as they are about to give up the moon comes out and Goku catches a glimpse and transforms into the Oozuru (big ape) and escapes the place. He destroys everything without knowing it. The only way to stop an Oozuru for good is to cut off it's tail. Puar transforms into a pair of scissors and Yamcha cuts off Goku's Tail. He transforms back into his human form, fast asleep.
The next morning Goku awakens with no clothing on with no recolection of what happened the night before. Oolong gives him some pants and Goku calls the flying Nimbus. Goku then goes to Master Roshi's Island to train. His first task is to bring back a hot girl for Master Roshi before the real training starts. The journey ends with Goku bringing back an ugly fat woman. Goku has a lot to learn about hot girls.
Well this Graphic Novel was one of the good ones with a lot of perverted humor, which any teen would enjoy. I highly reccomend this one. The only times i wouldn't reccomend one of the graphic novels is if it has nothing important in it and it stinks, but I really doubt that I will come across any of them like that.
